OUR STORY

The Peached Tortilla is a Southern-Asian Fusion Inspired award-winning restaurant group. In 2010, we started to roam the streets of Austin in our food truck, serving Asian and Southern-inspired tacos and sliders. Over the past decade, we have grown into a multi-restaurant operation that spans our original namesake location on Burnet Road, a fast casual outpost within Austin Bergstrom International Airport, a bar focused restaurant concept in Clarksville, Bar Peached, and a new location in Cedar Park. Our operations also include an event space, Peached Social House, and full-service catering company.

THE PEACHED TEAM

The Peached Tortilla was founded by Eric Silverstein, a former litigator who chose to merge his passions for food and business. Born in Tokyo, he was influenced by Japanese, Chinese, and Malaysian cuisine before moving to Atlanta at age ten, where he discovered Southern cooking. These contrasting flavors shape The Peached Tortilla’s menu. Eric was named one of the Top 30 Up-and-Coming Chefs in America by Plate Magazine and has been featured in People, Kiplinger’s, Food Network, CNBC, the Cooking Channel, Forbes, and Austin Monthly. In 2019, he released his memoir-cookbook, The Peached Tortilla: Modern Asian Comfort Food from Tokyo to Texas.
